Exceptional Vintage Design
This tubular steel chair was designed by German architect, painter, and designer Peter Behrens who was also the leading representative of modern Industrial design and co-founder of the “Deutschen Werkbund”. It was made around 1930 and comes from a Tobacco factory in Linz, Austria. The seat and back are adjustable. The tubular steel is partly made from old chrome, the seat and back are made from solid beech. The back also features linoleum.
