Vintage Design
The icon of the “De Stijl” movement, created in 1917 by Gerrit Rietveld.
This chair is a one off piece, made by a German engineer in the 1970s for his private use. This is a very well made replica of the Rietveld chair. Solid beech or oak for the structure, seat and back in Multiplex panels.
It is very well finished, the black parts are tinted, leaving the grain of the wood visible, while on the colored parts the paint is covering. Very good vintage condition, with a very beautiful patina.
