Vintage Design
Coffee table in the taste of Gilbert Poillerat in lacquered, oxidized and gilded metal. It rests on four openwork tapered legs with decorative globes on top. The base is joined by a twisted semi-circular crosspiece. The top is composed of a marquetry of stones in different shades of cream. These robust and graceful patterns are close to some creations of Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988) in the 1930s-1940s with neo baroque inspiration. It is a work of the 1970s.
