Vintage Design
Ancient Marchigiana walnut flap from the 1700s with the front marked by three large drawers, six small drawers on two levels and secret compartments inside the calatoria. It is in a good state of preservation.
It is an impressively large flap chest of drawers, panelled in walnut, decorated with cherry wood frames arranged in counter-grain and enclosed by maple fillets, which are also repeated inside the calatoria, while walnut-root mirrors are only present on the central decoration of the sides.
The bureau dates back to the second half of the 18th century and comes from a private residence in Ancona.
