Set of two hand-painted 13-centimeter porcelain high plates from Ann Demeulemeester. The plates rest on a pedestal and literally elevate the food that is served on them. A black matte glaze on the outside flows over the inner edge to a glossy off-white glaze on the inside. The contrast between matte and glossy, but also the contrast between black and off-white, are typical of the Ann Demeulemeester style.
