Vintage Design
Beautiful painted chest of drawers from Germany dating from the end of the 19th century. The cabinet has three spacious drawers and is made of pine wood. The whole is in a so-called Faux-Bois painting, which means that a certain type of wood has been imitated with paint and a wood comb, in this case burl walnut. This old paint is beautifully crackled, especially on the drawers. The piece of furniture has brass fittings and the whole is in neat condition with some light signs of wear consistent with its age. 84cm high, 104cm wide, 54cm deep.
