The elaborate set veneer works create amazing looking patterns – a true masterpiece of baroque furniture. Beside the gorgeous inlayed frame works (made of nutwood, burl walnut, poplar, maple and fruitwood) which can be found all over this over 250 year old baroque cabinet, the extraordinary designed base is a real highlight and absolutely matchless. The large front doors can be wide opened and still keep the original, fully functional massive hand forged lock – additionally adorned by incredible chased ornamentations. Also the locking mechanisms for the left wing of the double door is still the original one. This valuable 18th century baroque cabinet provides much storage space, divided into five large compartments. A traditional hand polished shellac finish and artfully open worked brass applications complete the incredible look and make this rare baroque cabinet an eye-catching piece of baroque furniture – furthermore a real smart investment for the future. A one of a kind 18th century baroque cabinet coming in great old restored condition.
